Third Annual Greater Northwest Passenger Rail Summit

through October 9, 2024

Venue Information

Spokane Central Library 906 W Main Ave Spokane Washington 99201

The Summit brings together passenger rail experts and advocates to continue working toward restoring a true national network for passenger rail that includes service to the largely underserved Greater Northwest. Chances for better rail options are improving! The Federal Railroad Administration's Long-Distance Service Study is recommending 15 routes to expand the nation's passenger rail system.

The former North Coast Hiawatha route, serving Seattle, Yakima, Spokane, southern Montana, the Twin Cities and Chicago is one of the recommended routes.

We’re planning to discuss this and related issues at the Third Annual Greater Northwest Passenger Rail Summit this fall.

The event will be co-sponsored by All Aboard Northwest, the Pacific Northwest Economic Region, Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority, All Aboard Washington, The Association of Oregon Rail and Transit Advocates, and the Northwest Region of the Rail Passengers Association.
