All Aboard Washington legislative day in Olympia

AAWA will be hosting our 4th annual legislative day in Olympia in February. We don’t have the date yet (soon hopefully) but want to give everyone a heads up. We’ll post information as soon as we have it.

We’ll again meet with members of the Legislative Rail Caucus (and other key legislators) over a light lunch to encourage them to continue moving forward on intercity passenger rail improvements and expansion beyond the two additional round-trips coming this fall between Seattle and Portland.

The legislative day also gives you an opportunity to set up appointments with your two state representatives and your senator. Executive Director Lloyd Flem is ready and able to help with setting up the meetings and what to talk with your legislators about, if needed.

We continue to work hard on daytime service to central and eastern Washington, a Blaine station stop, improved amenities at King St. Station and other projects.
