Bill has been a member since 2007 and is a new board member. He was born in Seattle and split his growing up years between here, New Jersey, and Florida. He received a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. He is retired from Boeing after 32 years. He worked nine of those years in European Boeing Field Service at the airlines in Rome, Amsterdam, Moscow, and London. This gave him an appreciation for their excellent and well integrated national rail systems which he used extensively. While there he saw their governments spending billions on improving existing and new high speed rail lines. He is a strong advocate of passenger rail service locally and nationally.
